LANGUAGE CENTRE ÅBO AKADEMI

The Language Centre offers studies in languages and academic language skills for all degree students at Åbo Akademi University. We offer language courses in the two national languages Swedish and Finnish. We also teach academic language skills courses in Swedish and English.
We offer courses in foreign languages at four levels ranging from beginner to advanced. Exchange students are welcome to participate in Swedish and Finnish as a foreign language.
We conduct language evaluation of degree theses and language testing.
The Language Centre is a division of The Centre for Lifelong Learning and we operate in Åbo and Vasa.
